Happy August!
The year steam rolls on as we move into the final month of a pretty chilly winter. annieB’s has been in hibernation the past month or so, waiting out the cold, but now we’re shedding our leaves, stretching out our limbs, and gearing up for a big end to the year.
Winter is the perfect time to snuggle in and let your mind do the adventuring. To keep ourselves and you, our lovely customers, warm for the remainder of the season we have introduced a range of beautiful hand knitted kid’s beanies (our August product of the month) and slashed the price of our hand stitched quilts. With mind and body cosy and warm the only thing missing is a good book (annieB’s is currently reading Roberto Bolano’s 2666 and highly recommends it).
More great news this week, as a new shipment is arriving from India! All those who have been patiently awaiting our ‘out of stock’ items to return, breathe a sigh of relief and keep a keen watch on the website for the new products’ arrival.
As the election looms we are trying to step back a little and live sub specie aeternitatis (under the aspect of eternity). Time to focus on good friends, good food and good style. We’re already dreaming of lovely spring and summer evening soirees, decked to the nines with annieB’s vibrant colours. It’s never too early to shift the focus to the warmer months, so stock up on annieB’s director’s chair covers and placemats and napkins and tablecloths and aprons (oh my!) and start planning those parties.
